Omega Speedmaster Two Counters 311.33.44.51.01.001
When the Omega Speedmaster Two Counters 311.33.44.51.01.001 was introduced in 2011, it represented a new generation of two-register Moonwatches. Retaining the essence of the classic lunar chronograph, this model features a sportier 44.25mm case with a thickness of 16mm, making it more practical for daily wear due to its automatic movement and date display.
While the two-register Speedmaster Two Counters shares many characteristics with the original tri-compax model, it stands out in its own right. The chronograph function is shown through a stacked register at three o’clock, recording both chronograph hours and minutes, while the sub-dial at nine o’clock tracks running seconds, with a date display at six o’clock. OMEGA has also enhanced the applied markers and baton-style hands with generous Super-Luminova, ensuring visibility in all lighting conditions.
This model is driven by OMEGA’s in-house caliber 9300, a co-axial escapement automatic column wheel chronograph movement that is COSC-certified. It features a vertical clutch, a silicon balance spring, and a 60-hour power reserve. Additionally, the movement includes a unique jump-hour function, allowing the hour hand to be set independently of the minute hand, making it convenient for travelers.
